Because of the necessity in southern Africa, ONLINE begun the development of a “small mobile solar power plant”. Background of that invention was the insecure and the debasing energy supply of local energy providers (permanent blackouts, weak security in supply, voltage fluctuation…) and the need of a secure electricity supply of private homes and small businesses . At the planning of our Solar-Container it was a crucial factor that the target countries (in a first step Mozambique and Swaziland) usual don’t have trained people for the installation of small electric networks. We set the focus on an easy construction and setup. All materials and components are delivered in a compact way.
